This model is used for anatomical study of the female pelvic bones, and has a
movable symphysis for effective demonstration. The model consists of a
hip bone,a sacrum with coccyx,two lumbar vertebrae, and a symphysis
for detailed examination.It has a natural cast for accurate
representation,and is made of poly lactic Acid (PLA) plastic,which
is corrosion resistant,lightweight,and has high strength. All models are hand painted by artisans.
The sacrum is a triangular bone wedged into the rear section of the pelvis. It is made up of five fused vertebral bones. The female sacrum is shorter and wider than a male’s.The sacrum is connected to the tailbone,or coccyx,which is made of several fused vertebral bones at the base of the spine
